Even the Happy Need the Word

Are you naturally happy? Glass half-full kind of person?  That’s a gift… but it’s not enough.  Even the most positive people need to dwell in the Word of God.

Why? Because if you think you don’t need Him just because things are going well… that’s not strength. It’s self-sufficiency.  And self-sufficiency leads to pride.

The Bible says, ‘Pride goeth before destruction…’ Proverbs 16:18

Don’t rely on your mood. Rely on God.  Let His Word shape your thoughts. even when life feels good.

That’s how you build a life that stands… when storms come.
