Guilt Pt 2: Paid in full

The weight on your heart still lingers.

You’ve confessed, but the guilt keeps whispering.

And forgiveness? It feels out of reach.


It’s not just about who God is.

Yes, He is faithful and just to forgive…

But it’s also about what Jesus did.


Picture this:

You’re in court. Guilty. The verdict is certain.

Then Jesus steps forward and says,

“I’ll take her place.”


He doesn’t just speak on your behalf.

His life becomes your payment.


On the cross, He paid the price in full.

The Bible says:

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:14


So if you’ve confessed with a sincere, repentant heart,

you are forgiven.

Not because you feel it,

but because the debt is paid.


You are free.

2. The Answer

Not even a desperate scroll through the internet could save me this time. The answer came when I hit rock bottom. No more quick fixes. No “ten steps to peace.” A realization that I had nothing left. And that is when it happened. That is where the transformation began, not in the noise, but in the nothing. Jesus said it so clearly, but I never understood it until I lived it: “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”  Matthew 5:3 Poor in spirit. Not rich in answers, not strong in willpower, not full of ourselves, but empty, desperate, needing.   It was in that place of spiritual poverty that He became my everything.
