When Good Memories Hurt

Sometimes, even good memories can make us sad.

You remember better days. Happier times. And you wonder… what happened?

That’s not just nostalgia.  It can become rumination. Regret. Emotional pain.  Especially when your present doesn’t match your past.

But the answer isn’t to fight the memory. It’s to turn it into prayer.  Instead of just thinking about that person, pray for them.

And when you do… leave it with God. That’s called casting.

1 Peter 5:7 says, Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Don’t take it back. Don’t replay it again. Let it go and trust Him with it.
